"I hold a profound belief in the transformative power of change. We are dynamic and adaptable beings, capable of continuously finding greater happiness and personal growth".

Hello! My name is Pedro B. Ostrosky. I was born in the heart of Mexico City, where I began my journey as a psychotherapist.

I am a bilingual psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience providing comprehensive services to a diverse range of clients. Currently, I reside in San Diego, California, practicing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to my practice in San Diego, I also opened a private practice in Tijuana. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to connect with diverse communities and cultures.

As a psychotherapist, my greatest fulfillment comes from accompanying and guiding my clients towards a place of increased tranquility, happiness, and satisfaction.

Beyond my profession, I have a deep passion for surfing, traveling, and grilling on my BBQ. I prioritize being present for my family as a devoted father and husband, and as a playful companion to my wild and cuddly dog Luna.

I've been providing psychotherapy for over 12 years and I've witnessed the power of being heard and seen.

When therapeutic circumstances are approached with openness major transformations can take place. I practice through an eclectic style including psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, systemic, and strength-based theories. I have a holistic lens incorporating culture and tailoring therapy to your specific needs, understanding that therapy is never a one size fits all process.

One of my areas of expertise lies in working with parents and families. I am dedicated to guiding and educating individuals in areas such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Assertive communication, Positive discipline, and Emotional and Behavioral regulation.

Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive expertise in addressing a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, addictions, self-esteem issues, bullying, eating disorders, grief, life transitions, medical concerns, and various other conditions. However, what sets me apart is my profound understanding of the importance of attentive listening in facilitating effective therapy.
